Strong Roots Co. began as our story—a season of transition, resilience, healing, and choosing to rise again.

 

As my husband stepped out of military life and into civilian life, we found ourselves navigating a completely new chapter. With that came uncertainty, growth, and the need to rebuild a life that felt aligned for our family. At the same time, I was stepping into motherhood—learning, adapting, and rediscovering myself along the way.

 

For over a decade, I found myself in on-and-off relationships that were unsafe and unstable. Each time life tried to break me down, I came back stronger, wiser, and more rooted in who I am. Through it all, movement became my release. The gym was my therapy, my clarity, my reminder that my body is strong and capable—even during seasons when life felt anything but.

 

Today, Strong Roots Co. is built with no professional photos, no polished perfection—just me, my two hands, and my baby girl, Harley, by my side. You’ll often find me in the kitchen, singing to her while baking. What started as a hobby during postpartum became something more intentional. I realized I wasn’t comfortable with the amount of sugar commonly found in baked goods—especially in a home where I’m setting the example for my daughter.

 

Let me be clear—I love sweet treats. Always have, always will.

This isn’t about restriction or deprivation. It’s about balance, thoughtfulness, and nourishment.

 

I wanted to create baked goods that still feel fun, comforting, and indulgent—without the guilt, the crash, or the question of whether it’s serving our bodies well.
